ABSTRACT


This paper aims to present concepts, tools and proposals about Environmental education in Business Administration programs, as well as the EAESP experience in this area. The organizations are in the center of the environmental problems, since all of them produce adverse environmental impacts on a higher or lower level. These impacts are due to the use of Nature as a source of resources for the production of goods and services and as deposit of residues originated in the processes of production, distribution and use, jeopardizing the sustainability of the development. The solution of these problems or the way to minimize them requires a new attitude of business practitioners, so that they start to consider the environment in all their decisions, and adopt technological and administrative conceptions that contribute to enlarge the capacity of supporting the Planet. Upon these ideas the paper stresses the importance of the Environmental education in Business Administration Programs.
